The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub DKI Jakarta) has prepared 19 designated parking locations to accommodate visitors attending the 2026 National Zikir and Prayer Gathering at the National Monument (Monas) on Saturday. The event is scheduled to take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. WIB.
Head of the Jakarta Transportation Agency, Budi Awaluddin, said the parking facilities are intended to support smooth traffic management while providing adequate space for participants arriving by private vehicles.
According to the agency, the designated parking areas offer a combined capacity of 3,755 parking spaces for cars and 5,105 spaces for motorcycles. Authorities have urged visitors to use these official parking facilities instead of parking along public roads, which could disrupt traffic flow around the Monas area.
The available parking locations include the Old Pertamina Building, National Gallery, PLN Headquarters, the Ministry of Trade, IRTI Monas Parking Area, Gambir Railway Station, Lemhannas, the National Library, Telkom STO Gambir, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Danareksa Tower, Indosat Building, Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Istiqlal Mosque, the Indonesian Post Office, the southern side of Lapangan Banteng, Sapta Pesona Building, and JIEXPO Kemayoran.
In addition to providing parking facilities, the Transportation Agency has encouraged the public to travel by public transportation to minimize congestion during the event.
Monas is accessible through several TransJakarta routes, including Corridor 1 (Blok M–Kota), Corridor 2 (Pulo Gadung–Monas), Corridor 2A (Pulo Gadung–Rawa Buaya), Corridor 3 (Kalideres–Monas via Veteran), Route 1A (Pantai Maju–Balai Kota), Route 1P (Senen–Blok M), Route 5C (Cililitan–Juanda), Route 6A (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Kuningan), and Route 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semanggi).
The agency expects these traffic management measures to help ensure orderly transportation during one of the capital’s major national religious events, while maintaining smooth vehicle circulation around central Jakarta.
