The Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) recorded the distribution of Sejahtera Housing Loans (KPR Sejahtera) through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) at 147,871 housing units nationwide as of September 10, 2026. The total financing disbursed has reached approximately Rp18.4 trillion.
BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho said the realization forms part of the FLPP distribution target for 2026, which has been set at 350,000 housing units.
“As of September 10, 2026, the realization of Sejahtera FLPP Housing Loan distribution nationwide has reached 147,871 housing units, with financing of approximately Rp18.4 trillion,” Heru said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
To improve access to affordable housing for low-income communities (MBR), the government provides financing terms of up to 40 years. The tenure is optional, allowing prospective beneficiaries to choose a shorter repayment period based on their financial capacity and applicable financing requirements.
BP Tapera Director of Financing Cooperation and Policy Alfian Arif explained that the public needs to understand the eligibility requirements, including conditions related to first-home ownership and income limits adjusted according to zoning.
Several key requirements for FLPP housing loan recipients include being an Indonesian citizen, having never received housing subsidies or financing assistance from the government, and not already owning a home. Applicants must also have fixed or non-fixed income that does not exceed the MBR income limit as stipulated in Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Regulation Number 5 of 2025.
In addition, beneficiary requirements include marital status in accordance with the program’s regulations, and applicants must meet the applicable financing requirements.
BP Tapera is encouraging the public to use digital channels to obtain information about the availability of subsidized housing. The move is expected to help prospective beneficiaries find homes that match both their needs and financial capacity.
BP Tapera is also continuing to strengthen education and coordination with the government, distributing banks, developers, and other stakeholders. These efforts are aimed at expanding access for low-income communities to decent and affordable housing while supporting the achievement of the 3 Million Homes Program.
Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait previously emphasized that government housing programs should provide tangible benefits to the public through processes that are easy, affordable, fast, and not burdensome. Financing convenience, including low down payments and repayment terms of up to 40 years, is part of these efforts.
