Keeping Jakarta Clean and Beautiful, PMJ Promotes Culture of Environmental Care

Polda Metro Jaya (Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police) continues to encourage the public to build a culture of environmental care in order to keep Jakarta clean, healthy, and beautiful.
This invitation was extended as part of an effort to raise public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness amidst high urban activities.
Polda Metro Jaya assesses that environmental cleanliness is not solely the responsibility of the government, but also requires the active participation of all levels of society.
Various social activities and environmental campaigns are reportedly being carried out continuously, ranging from cleanup actions in public areas to education on waste management.
Urban environmental observers assess that public awareness is a vital factor in reducing waste issues and pollution in major cities like Jakarta.
In addition to maintaining city aesthetics, a clean environment is also deemed to have an impact on public health and the quality of life of urban residents.
Jakarta itself still faces various environmental challenges, such as waste, air pollution, and the reduction of green spaces due to dense urbanization.
Therefore, collaboration between the government, authorities, communities, and the public is considered crucial to creating a more comfortable and sustainable urban environment.
Polda Metro Jaya also urges the public to start implementing simple habits, such as disposing of trash in its proper place, reducing the use of single-use plastics, and maintaining the cleanliness of public facilities.
Through this environmental care movement, it is hoped that the collective awareness of the community will continue to grow so that Jakarta becomes a cleaner, greener, and more comfortable city to live in.
